International Students Club officers and members participated in the outreach program for nearby schools making a trip to Steelville Middle School. ISC members represented their home countries while interacting with students giving them first hand account of how’s it like to travel abroad for study, share different cultures, food and language. Steelville Middle School Students were very much excited to meet the international students, many of whom had never interacted with somebody outside US. Seeing their name written in different languages was the most fascinating part for them. ISC shall continue to participate in such events to develop mutual understanding and respect amongst communities and foreign students.
