We would like to warmly welcome all the new international students to missouri s&t family and this marks the begining of ISC’s latest initiative, the “buddy program”. Officers and volunteers of ISC volunteered their time to help any international student who need help to get things started in Rolla. We partnered with International affairs office and sent a letter(given in the pictures) to all the international students who got accepted and asked them to contact us. Then we paired them with our volunteers and started communicating with them. As we all were in their shoes few years ago we think we would be a great asset to all the new students. This semester we got 8 students in this program and will hope to increase these numbers next semester. Helping our students is the priority of ISC and this is just the 1st step towards that.
